From a humble beginning to an uncertain future and beyond
The Story starts in 1991 when I found the "DEAL" on a Stinson 108-2. I basically bought this plane sight unseen. It was located inside a Barn near Arlington Washington. The process of getting the airplane out of the barn and back to Seattle was a story in itself and can be read in the story section of the Hanger.
So Set back grab something to drink, relax and wander through the pictures and enjoy.
Well it seems that everyone's first priority when they get a new toy is to Jump in, grab the Wheel and trim, and make airplane noises.
65 Kilo is finally at my home in Seattle. As you can see the airplane needs a little cosmetics. The guy I bought it from actually had the nerve to say, "Why with a few minor electrical fixes and a little oil, she will be flyin in no time"
Yeah, Yeah I have heard it from everyone... If you believe what he said then ya got what ya was asking for, Right?
You need to stand back a bit to absorb the full Impact of what I was about to attempt

The wife suggested I use the little red can on the right to clean it up some!!!!! Hmmmm I wonder what she was thinking?
