My first featured company has decided to make good so here is some reading if you would like.
It seems like "The Company" had a change of heart! After my last mass mailing to some rather important government officials in Miami on Thursday 8-3-06. I received a communication from "The Company" Friday morning! "The Company" wanted my Pay Pal address so they could send me my money! Surprise Surprise! Do you think this had anything to do with having the FTC, Florida AG, Local political district rep, The Miami Chamber of commerce, Government import export licensing agency and finally to Florida Gov Jeb Bush.
Well at any rate I am calling this case Closed!
Way to go Allstates of America, You have restored my faith in the power of hi political office
For the record This is the name and information of the Company that failed to produce product as agreed and when asked for my money back the company just ignored me.

The owner of record and the individual I was dealing with is a man that identified himself as : Robert Metzler.
Note*** I will refrain from using his name any farther except to identify him as the individual I was dealing with.
Furthermore all references to any person associated with this company, Will be identified as simply "The Company"!
This is a complaint about a company, Not a person.
I was contacted by "The Company" after I posted a request for a manual for an Exhaust gas analyzer on another Website. I was looking for a manual for a Marquette 42-159 exhaust gas analyzer. Of course "The Company" said they had the manual and for $35.00 would make a copy and send it to me. I promptly sent a check for $40.00. $35.00 for the manual and I added 5 dollars for mailing fees. By the way which were not even asked for.
I had tried to reason with "The Company" after not receiving anything from them. I waited for an answer but would get no response from my emails and several Long Distance telephone calls.
After months of waiting I finally decided to start off with the Better Business bureau. on this page is a copy of that correspondence.
"The Company" choose not to respond to the BBB or anyone for that matter.
Below is a copy of the first letter I sent to the BBB.

As shown I contacted "The Company" of Allstates Of America. ( an automotive equipment supplier.
I inquired if they had an operation manual for an exhaust gas analyzer I had.
"The Company" of Allstates of America responded affirmatively and we agreed on $35.00 for copying expenses for the manual. I sent them a check and added $5.00 for mailing expenses.
I then waited and waited for any info from Allstates of America.
I sent several Emails asking for status. I got NO answer. I made several phone calls to Allstates Of America and asked about status. I was told that I would have to talk to "The Company" himself and that he was out of the office for a “Couple of weeks”. I finally reached "The Company" and was told they did have the book but that it was in some box somewhere and he would have to look for it. I have waited for "The Company" to look for this book and have NOT had a satisfactory resolution to this or even an answer from "The Company".
At this point I would be happy to just get my $40.00 back. So far "The Company" has refused to do even that. Now my calls go unanswered and I am NOT a happy camper. Anything the BBB can do to assist me in recovering either the manual or my money back would be appreciated.

As a summary here are a few things to keep in mind: Now the neat thing is it is fairly easy to step up to the plate and attempt to rectify these problems yourself.
The most important things to remember is document, document, document. Write down everything you say and do. make a written record of the phone calls to whom, How long, Topic and any other things you say and do.
the next important thing is to remain Calm and level headed. don't get in a name calling or threat mode. That just serves to piss everyone off. Instead Find the names and addresses of people whom can be your best allies. These are the people like the BBB, corporate associations other corporations that may do business with the the company and anyone else you can get to help you like politicians, public figures.
Look at the political structure. Send a polite request to them to see if they can be of any assistance to you.
Another good allies is the local political representative. They can
sometimes exert a bit of influence to right a wrong.
Finally remember to have documentation to support your claim. Remember companies hope you will just go away and not bother them. Some feel if they are very far from you they can just ignore you and you will go away...
My final recommendation is "Stand up for your rights! If you don't no one else will.
